Thoughtless Timeless System

Definition
The Thoughtless Timeless System is a narrative structuring method that allows events, locations, and relationships to persist, evolve, and re-enter play without requiring active tracking, linear timelines, or constant author attention.
It treats history not as a sequence of dated events, but as a field of latent pressure capable of resurfacing whenever conditions align.
In this system:
- Events are registered, not resolved.
- Time is irrelevant unless invoked.
- Meaning is earned retroactively, not assigned in advance.
The system is “thoughtless” in that it does not demand upkeep once seeded.
It is “timeless” in that entries remain valid across sessions, arcs, campaigns, and even entirely separate parties.

1. Registration over Resolution
An interaction, visit, or choice is registered as having occurred, even if no consequence is immediately expressed.
The system preserves the fact that something happened, not what it meant at the time.
This keeps narrative weight available without forcing payoff.
My Thought: This is your numero uno beginning to history hoarding.
Also something not mentioned explicitly but I add in my own thoughts that override the players constantly, you are apart of the story.
